ROADSIDE & STREAM CLEANUP

Looking for a way to make an instant difference in your neighborhood? Grab a group of friends, or just yourself, and pick up litter around your community. Not only will it improve the appearance of your surroundings, it will set a great example for others and encourage them to take more pride in their own environment.

Call Quality Forward and we can supply you with garbage bags, safety vests, litter pick- up sticks, and gloves. After the cleanup, let us know where you have left the bags and we will contact either the city or the county to make sure they are picked up in a timely manner.

For larger cleanups, we can arrange for the use of a sway car from the city. Please call for these well in advance of the cleanup as these can be more difficult to secure.

The Great Asheville Buncombe Cleanup

This is our month-long emphasis on cleaning up Buncombe County for Spring. Typically held in April, this consists of cleanups and awareness-raising events throughout the county.

The Big Sweep River Clean-Up

Typically held in September, Quality Forward heads up a fleet of rafts, canoes and volunteers to clean up our beautiful French Broad River. Be a part of a cleanup that never fails to collect tons of tires, machinery and other litter from the banks of the French Broad.
